In 2006, the government wanted to built another city. They named it "Montreal II". Sadly, an officer spilt a mug of coffee onto the title paper, and renamed it "Mon". It was during closing time that happened. The next day, when the governemnt returned, and they did not remember what title they wrote. They saw the paper to refresh their memory, and confirmed it was "Mon". Thus, the city was named "Mon".
Later, in the early months of 2007, Air Canadian Airways Flight 1 crash-landed on the city. Half the houses and population was destroyed and died.
